About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the commercial real estate industry within the JLL Capital Markets group. You will work alongside analysts to support investment and acquisition projects. This is a full-time, paid position based in Austin, Texas.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research by gathering and analyzing statistics, demographics, and traffic counts.
- Support property valuations for current and proposed listings using Excel and Argus.
- Prepare lease abstracts by reviewing and summarizing lease documents.
- Assist the team with the transaction due diligence process.
- Design and prepare marketing materials, including offering memorandums and teasers.
- Collect data on rent rolls and tenant profiles to support the team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college or university junior, with an expected graduation date in Summer 2028.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professional interactions with clients in a busy environment.
- Preferred experience with Argus, PowerPoint, Adobe InDesign, and Photoshop.
