About the role#
This internship provides hands-on training for individuals interested in HVAC systems maintenance and operations. You will work directly with experienced technicians to learn essential technical skills and support our facilities management teams. The role offers a structured way to understand commercial building systems, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
What you'll do#
- Shadow and assist experienced technicians during routine maintenance, repairs, and system inspections.
- Participate in preventative maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment.
- Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, building plans, and equipment specifications.
- Assist in diagnosing HVAC system issues.
- Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and system performance in facility management systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed education in HVAC, mechanical engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts.
- Good communication abilities and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and technical instructions.
- Willingness to work in various environments, including mechanical rooms, rooftops, and occupied spaces.
