About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience across the learning and development lifecycle. You will work on leadership development initiatives while building practical skills in instructional design, program management, and stakeholder partnership. This is a 12-week, full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Complete an end-to-end learning project using the ADDIE framework, from initial analysis and objective setting to content creation, implementation, and final evaluation.
- Support the scaling, coordination, and delivery of the Lead@Hardie leadership program.
- Assist with planning for Grow@Hardie, including event logistics, session development, and communications.
- Facilitate sessions with coaching and feedback provided throughout the program.
- Analyze participant feedback and learning data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Partner with HR, business leaders, and subject matter experts to support ongoing learning initiatives.
- Assist with various leadership development and talent projects as business needs arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Communications, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Full-time availability for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management and organizational abilities.
- A willingness to learn and the ability to translate information into practical learning experiences.
- Comfort working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Previous coursework or experience in instructional design, adult learning, or organizational development is preferred.
