About the role#
As an IT Project Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in project management and process improvement. You will work to create consistent project materials and identify ways to streamline workflows. This 12-week paid program provides real-world industry exposure and the chance to contribute to projects that impact business results.
What you'll do#
- Use AI and automation tools to streamline project activities like status reports, presentations, and meeting summaries.
- Support project planning, tracking, and reporting to ensure information is accurate and aligned with PMO standards.
- Create and document standardized processes, templates, SOPs, prompts, and agendas to improve team efficiency.
- Work with project managers, business stakeholders, and technical teams to gather requirements.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve project delivery.
- Present your recommendations, solutions, and project outcomes to stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree program in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- An anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- An understanding of project management practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
