About the role#
This co-op position supports improvement initiatives within our warehouse and distribution operations. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze processes and implement solutions that improve efficiency, quality, and safety. This is a paid, full-time role for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Identify, document, and analyze warehouse, inventory management, and operational processes.
- Collect and analyze data on inventory accuracy, productivity, order fulfillment, and material flow.
- Support Lean and Continuous Improvement projects to reduce waste and improve material flow.
- Participate in process mapping, workflow analysis, and root cause investigations.
- Assist with warehouse layout, space utilization, and workplace organization initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary co-op program in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Comfort working in both office and warehouse environments.
- Note: All employees must obtain and maintain a personal security clearance and controlled goods approval. This requires that you have not resided outside of Canada for six months or more within the last five years. The process involves police, employment, and personal reference checks.
