About the role#
This position offers an opportunity to gain experience in HR data analysis within a large organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support workforce decisions through reporting and visualization. This is a full-time, paid position for the Winter 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the team on HR data analysis, reporting, and visualization to support strategic workforce decisions.
- Gain hands-on experience using SQL, Power BI, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and data products.
- Analyze workforce and operational data to identify trends and generate insights.
- Support initiatives aimed at improving data quality and process efficiency.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a university program such as Business, Commerce, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or Information Systems.
- Availability for the Winter 2027 work term.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- A demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or Power Platform through coursework, projects, or prior experience is an asset.
