About the role#
We are seeking a Corporate Reliability Engineering Co-op Student to join our team in Toronto for a 12-month term starting in Winter 2027. You will work alongside the Project Engineering and Asset Reliability groups to support the performance and maintenance of our equipment.
What you'll do#
- Ensure the reliability and maintainability of both new and modified equipment installations.
- Help develop standards, business processes, and best practices for Asset Reliability Management.
- Define, design, develop, and refine an Asset Maintenance Plan, including preventive maintenance tasks and predictive testing methodologies.
- Provide input to a Risk Management Plan to identify operational risks.
- Develop engineering solutions to address repetitive failures and problems related to capacity, quality, cost, or regulatory compliance.
- Participate in the development of design specifications, commissioning plans, and equipment evaluation criteria.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering degree program.
- Completion of at least 2 years of undergraduate study.
- Fluency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A high level of professionalism and the ability to work in an organized manner, balancing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with CAD, Visio, Database, or SharePoint is considered an asset but is not required.
