About the role#
We are looking for a Paper Mill Engineering Co-op Student to join our team in Toronto for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work alongside our Operations and Engineering departments to support our manufacturing goals.
What you'll do#
- Lead projects focused on design, process improvement, and optimization.
- Help the team solve problems by gathering data, investigating issues, and performing analysis.
- Collaborate with departments to implement and improve systems.
- Support site initiatives related to Safety, Quality, Production, Maintenance, and Continuous Improvement.
- Follow all site safety practices.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program for Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Availability for a 4-month co-op term.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is an asset.
