About the role#
This internship position is based at the Lactalis Canada Research and Development center in Victoriaville. You will join the R&D team to provide technical and analytical support for product development projects. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Support the execution of laboratory and production experiments for new or renewed products.
- Conduct experiments and support sampling plans.
- Perform lab analyses to assist with transformation processes and formula commissioning.
- Manage the scaling of prototypes and subsequent trials.
- Prepare and document raw ingredient data, formulations, and specifications.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained across all assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Strong knowledge in food science, chemistry, microbiology, or engineering.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.
- Creative problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Bilingualism (French and English) is required due to frequent communication with partners and facilities outside of Quebec.
