About the role#
The Woodlands Mobile Equipment & Maintenance team is looking for a student for the Summer 2027 term. You will report to the Maintenance Process & Performance Engineer and support digital solutions that improve operational efficiency, automate administrative tasks, and assist with decision-making. You will work directly with maintenance teams and garage personnel to build practical tools that provide measurable value.
What you'll do#
- Support the design, development, and implementation of automation and continuous improvement projects.
- Build solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled workflows, copilots, and agent-based solutions.
- Use prompt engineering and retrieval-grounded knowledge to improve AI effectiveness.
- Analyze business processes to find ways to reduce administrative work.
- Collaborate with operational stakeholders to gather requirements and validate your solutions.
- Create user guides, documentation, and training materials.
- Monitor how solutions perform and suggest improvements for usability and scalability.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field.
- Experience or interest in the Microsoft Power Platform.
- Interest in applied AI technologies like Microsoft Copilot Studio, OpenAI, or Anthropic.
- Understanding of AI concepts such as agent design, prompt engineering, and retrieval-grounded knowledge.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly and work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- A valid Class 5 driver's license and a willingness to travel to garage locations.

- The role is full-time and on-site.
- This is a paid internship for the Summer 2027 term.
