About the role#
The Human Resources Training Co-op supports the HR team in the administration, coordination, and improvement of employee training programs. This role provides hands-on experience in learning and development, onboarding, and manufacturing operations. You will work with the HR Manager, Training Specialist, and department leaders to ensure employees have the resources needed to work safely and effectively.
What you'll do#
- Maintain employee training records and qualifications.
- Support data entry and reporting within the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Upload, organize, and update training materials and learning resources.
- Track employee completion of required training programs.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including room reservations, equipment setup, and scheduling.
- Prepare training materials, sign-in sheets, presentations, and documentation.
- Assist with new employee orientation, onboarding activities, and welcome packets.
- Coordinate training schedules for new hires and employees transferring departments.
- Create and update training documentation, job aids, and standard work instructions.
- Participate in projects focused on training effectiveness, employee engagement, and change management.
- Gather feedback from employees and trainers regarding training programs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Education, Training, Communications, or Psychology.
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a self-directed manner without constant supervision.
- An energetic approach to new projects and ideas.

- Location: Macon, Georgia.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, 100% on-site position.
- Compensation: This is a paid position. Co-op fee reimbursement is available up to $1000 if eligible. Relocation assistance is provided if applicable.
