About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to transportation management principles within the logistics industry. You will work on-site in Reno, Nevada, during the Fall 2026 semester. This is a paid, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist customers with transportation and logistics services.
- Help with daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties as required by the customer.
- Handle other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited institution.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
- Majors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics are preferred.
