About the role#
The Service Operations Intern supports our team through administrative, reporting, and project work. You will gain hands-on experience with dealership service operations while helping us improve efficiency, compliance, and overall business performance.
What you'll do#
- Track, monitor, and maintain operational records and reports.
- Collect and organize documentation for audits, reviews, and compliance activities.
- Upload and update operational information in company databases.
- Process, track, and reconcile departmental expenses.
- Compile reports and assist with data entry, validation, and information management.
- Review records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Coordinate information collection across multiple departments and locations.
- Assist with report preparation, trend analysis, and operational improvement projects.
- Provide general administrative support including spreadsheet maintenance and correspondence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet department goals.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university degree program in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Operations Management, or Marketing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship based in Gray, Louisiana.
- The role involves standard office tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
- You may occasionally need to lift and carry office supplies up to 20 pounds.
