About the role#
As an Operations Intern, you will support our teams in providing transportation and logistics services. This role offers exposure to the fundamentals of transportation management and gives you a chance to see how our operations function on a daily basis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with daily operational tasks such as freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll processes.
- Participate in logistics analysis, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Help with Customer Value Delivery and profit-and-loss management.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and directives.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
