About the role#
This internship offers exposure to transportation management principles within an intermodal setting. You will work under close supervision to support logistics services and gain insight into daily operations. This is a paid, part-time position for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Assist with customers on transportation and logistics services.
- Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management, Department of Transportation compliance, and driver payroll.
- Assist with logistics analysis, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination.
- Gain an understanding of industry trends and initiatives related to driver retention.
- Perform account-specific duties and other related tasks as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and a willingness to work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.

- Compensation: $16.90 to $24.50 per hour.
