About the role#
This Operations Internship for Fall 2026 provides an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of transportation and logistics. You will work under supervision to support customer service and gain practical experience in supply chain management.
What you'll do#
- Assist with transportation and logistics services for customers.
- Participate in daily operations, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Help with driver payroll and supervision.
- Gain insight into logistics analysis, profit-and-loss management, and maintenance coordination.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific tasks and other assigned duties.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and directives.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
