About the role#
This internship provides experience in transportation and logistics services. You will work on-site in Puyallup, Washington, during the Fall 2026 semester. This is a part-time, paid position that does not offer employment-based sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support safety management and Department of Transportation (DOT) compliance.
- Assist with driver payroll and maintenance coordination.
- Perform logistics analysis and profit-and-loss management.
- Learn about industry trends and initiatives related to driver retention.
- Handle account-specific duties as required.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work environments.
