About the role#
This internship provides experience in transportation management. You will work on-site to assist with logistics services and gain insight into how our operations run. This is a paid, part-time position for the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily tasks like freight planning and asset utilization.
- Handle safety management and DOT compliance.
- Process driver payroll and coordinate maintenance.
- Perform logistics analysis and Customer Value Delivery.
- Supervise drivers and assist with profit-and-loss management.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties and other assigned tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Logistics.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week during the semester.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Flexibility in your work hours.
- Junior or Senior standing is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and directives.
