This role gains exposure to market dynamics, carrier negotiation strategies, and tools used to deliver efficient solutions. This role learns about establishing a carrier base and attaining optimal margins while delivering best-in-class service execution.Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Gain exposure and understanding of the transportation industryBecome involved and participate in daily transportation brokerage activities; verify carrier authenticity, maintain accurate shipment records, and monitor freight movement to uphold service expectationsBuild an understanding of market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges that support carrier negotiations and contribute to revenue and margin goalsObserve and practice serving as a liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers: gain competence in how service failures are proactively communicated to minimize cost and operational inefficiencies while providing best-in-class serviceLearn about the technology and tools J.B.
