About the role#
This is a part-time Operations Internship at J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. for the Fall 2026 term. You will work on-site in West Haven, Connecticut. This position is paid and does not offer employment-based sponsorship.
What you'll do#
You will assist with customers to provide transportation and logistics services. Your daily work includes planning freight and managing asset utilization. You will also participate in safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, and maintenance coordination. Additionally, you will perform logistics analysis and support profit-and-loss management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Junior or Senior academic standing is preferred.
