About the role#
This is a part-time internship for the Fall 2026 semester. You will work under close supervision to assist with transportation and logistics services. The role offers exposure to fundamental management principles within the trucking industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operations, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Assist with safety management, DOT compliance, and driver payroll.
- Support logistics analysis, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Help manage profit-and-loss and Customer Value Delivery.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific tasks as required by the customer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and directives.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Junior or Senior status is preferred.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Stockton, California.
- The pay range is $16.90 to $24.50 per hour.
- This role is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.
