About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation brokerage operations. You will work under supervision to learn about market dynamics, carrier negotiations, and the tools used to provide logistics solutions. The role focuses on building a carrier base and managing shipments to meet service goals.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily brokerage tasks, including verifying carrier authenticity and maintaining shipment records.
- Monitor freight movement to ensure service expectations are met.
- Learn about market trends, pricing strategies, and capacity challenges.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and carriers to communicate effectively and minimize operational inefficiencies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- Preferred status as a Junior or Senior student.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Academic background in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.

- This is a paid, part-time internship.
