About the role#
This internship provides exposure to transportation management principles within the trucking industry. You will work under supervision to assist with customer logistics and transportation services. This is a part-time, paid position for the Fall 2026 term.
What you'll do#
- Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning and asset utilization.
- Support Department of Transportation compliance and safety management.
- Assist with driver payroll, driver supervision, and maintenance coordination.
- Help with profit and loss management and logistics analysis.
- Perform account-specific duties and tasks as assigned.
- Learn about industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
- Ability to work 20 to 25 hours per week during the school semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Preference is given to students at the Junior or Senior level.
- Majors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Logistics are preferred.
