About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in transportation and logistics services. You will work under supervision to learn core management principles and support daily operations. This is a rolling, part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with transportation and logistics services for customers.
- Participate in daily tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, and safety management.
- Help with Department of Transportation compliance and driver payroll.
- Coordinate maintenance and support driver supervision.
- Analyze logistics and contribute to profit-and-loss management.
- Stay informed on industry trends and company initiatives regarding driver retention.
- Complete account-specific duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week during the semester.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work flexible hours.
