About the role#
This internship offers students the chance to gain industry experience in the transportation sector. You will work as part of an assigned team to complete engineering and technology tasks. The role is designed to help you connect classroom learning to practical work over the summer.
What you'll do#
- Participate in engineering and technology tasks within your team.
- Perform limited analysis and design work.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs with guidance from senior team members.
- Develop scripts and automate infrastructure processes in areas like cybersecurity, cloud, or database engineering.
- Analyze internal and external data to assist with process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a technology related degree program, such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Industrial Engineering.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.75, with a 3.0 GPA in your major.
- High school students are eligible if they demonstrate professional readiness and have support from a recognized STEM program.
- Ability to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Note that this position does not offer employment-based sponsorship.

- This is an on-site position based in Lowell, Arkansas.
- The internship takes place during the summer of 2027.
- This is a paid, part-time opportunity.
