About the role#
This internship provides electrical engineering support for innovation projects on meat slicers and planetary mixers. You will work with a cross-functional team of engineers, technicians, and machine operators to help move R&D projects toward production. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Troy, Ohio.
What you'll do#
- Build and test prototype electronics using Raspberry Pi, Arduino, or similar hardware.
- Perform hands-on work such as soldering and modifying PCBs and test boxes.
- Write code for algorithms involving signal processing and communications.
- Create and update electrical schematics.
- Troubleshoot AC and DC circuits.
- Work with DC motors and variable frequency drives for AC motors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor degree program for Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Junior or Senior academic standing for the 2026 to 2027 school year.
- Ability to commute to the facility in Troy, Ohio for the duration of the internship.
