About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Co-Op position located in Iron Mountain, Michigan. You will work with the team at BOSS Snowplow, a division of The Toro Company, for the Winter and Summer 2027 terms, spanning from January 2027 through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, prototyping, and testing of electronic circuits for new and existing products.
- Design fixtures for electrical and software development testing.
- Conduct tests, collect data, and analyze results for new or current products.
- Help solve problems within the Electronics Lab and on plant test fixtures.
- Create methods for standard work procedures.
- Work alongside design engineers to reduce costs and improve product quality.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in electronic circuit design or a related field.
- Experience with test fixture design.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once and prioritize tasks based on deadlines.
- Demonstrated computer skills, specifically with MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Orcad.
- Experience with 3D modeling software is a plus.
