About the role#
The Warewash Business Division is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to join our team in Troy, Ohio. You will report to an engineering manager and work on various projects that support our Hobart brand commercial dishwashers. This is a paid, full-time position for students currently pursuing a bachelor's degree.
What you'll do#
- Assist with product testing, validation, and data analysis to evaluate how mechanical systems perform.
- Create and modify CAD models, prototypes, and engineering designs for new and existing products.
- Perform equipment teardowns and technical research to find ways to improve product functionality.
- Write technical documentation, assembly instructions, and project presentations.
- Work with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams to troubleshoot equipment and support assembly processes.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore or junior standing in a Mechanical Engineering degree program.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site at our facility in Troy, Ohio.
- You must be able to work on-site five days per week.
- The pay range for this position is $19 to $26 per hour.
