About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Candidates must be available for the full duration of the program. This position is located on-site in Bloomington, Minnesota.
What you'll do#
- Create product specifications.
- Handle schematic capture and circuit design.
- Perform PCB layout with guidance from our designers.
- Test finished products in the lab using tools like oscilloscopes and multimeters.
- Support current team projects and participate in job shadowing.
- Write scripts using Python or similar languages.
- Work under the guidance of electrical engineers who provide mentorship.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Electrical or Electronic Engineering program at an ABET accredited university.
- Completion of junior-level courses is preferred.
- Ability to stay organized and use Microsoft Office programs independently.
- A strong desire to learn, collaborate, and communicate effectively within a team.
- Bonus skills include experience with analog or digital circuit design, ARM microcontrollers, PCB design, C programming, and scripting languages.
