NY/NJ Student Intern 2026-2027

About the role#

This part-time internship offers students the opportunity to learn the foundations of college campus ministry. Designed to provide hands-on experience, the role allows interns to work alongside staff to discern a potential long-term call to ministry. Interns will receive training in fundraising, networking, recruitment, and leadership development. This position is limited to students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college.

What you'll do#

• Participate in the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and contribute to plans for growth.
• Teach students to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
• Promote the mission on campus to build witnessing communities that are ethnically diverse and bold.
• Proclaim the Gospel and assist students and faculty in developing strategic thinking for campus witness.
• Serve as an ambassador for the organization by engaging with ministry partners and churches.
• Assist with administrative reporting and engage in ongoing supervision and training.

What you'll need#

• Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, and relational maturity.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a willingness to learn and work within a team.
• Relevant academic background in fields such as Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, Communications, Political Science, International Relations, Philosophy, History, or English.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: This is a paid, part-time position. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and the individual is responsible for securing a donor team to fund their salary.
