Student Intern - South Dakota (Undergraduate Ministry)

About the role#

This internship provides an opportunity for students to learn the fundamentals of college campus ministry. The role is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college who wish to grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and leadership skills while discerning a potential call to ministry service.

What you'll do#

• Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direction.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of the campus ministry team’s plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
• Teach students to love, study, and apply Scripture to their lives.
• Promote the organizational mission on campus to advance witnessing communities that are bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse.
• Seek opportunities to proclaim the Gospel and guide chapters in strategic thinking regarding witness to the university.
• Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for people of every ethnicity and culture.
• Serve as an ambassador of the organization to individual ministry partners and churches.

What you'll need#

• A follower of Jesus Christ who is willing to annually affirm the organization’s Statement of Agreement.
• A developing passion for evangelism.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural awareness, communication, professionalism, and cross-cultural competence.
• A strong desire to learn and work effectively within a team.
• Current enrollment status in a four-year or community college.
