About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry within the Texas Gulf Coast area. The position is designed for students currently enrolled in a four-year or community college to develop leadership skills, grow in biblical knowledge, and discern a potential call to ministry service. This is a paid, on-site role that requires the intern to build a donor team to fund their salary.
What you'll do#
- Participate and engage fully with the campus ministry team to cast vision and direct spiritual growth.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the organizational mission on campus by proclaiming the Gospel and developing strategic witness.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches through prayer and discussion of mission efforts.
- Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry trainers.
What you'll need#
- A follower of Jesus Christ who is willing to annually affirm the organization’s Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism and campus ministry.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including initiative, self-awareness, and professional communication.
- Cross-cultural competence and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Current enrollment in a four-year or community college (specific year-standing requirements apply based on institution type).

- Location: Texas, United States.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $15.06 - $20.08 per hour, dependent on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
