About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry at Marian University. The position is designed to help students grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and ministry skills while discerning a potential call to long-term ministry service. This role is open to students currently enrolled in a college program, with specific academic standing requirements based on the institution type.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the campus ministry team to help cast spiritual vision and direction.
- Contribute to team plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their daily lives.
- Promote the mission on campus by advancing witnessing communities that are broader and more ethnically diverse.
- Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the campus community.
- Model and assist students and faculty in growing in their love for people of every culture and ethnicity.
- Encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students, particularly those who do not yet follow Jesus.
- Engage with training and supervision provided by your staff ministry director.
- Serve as an ambassador for the ministry to churches and individual partners.
What you'll need#
- Must be a follower of Jesus Christ and be able to annually affirm the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, cultural competence, and relational maturity.
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, and an eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as Human Resources, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, or Communications.

- Compensation: This is a paid position funded through personal fundraising. Actual compensation depends on the ability to secure a donor team to cover the salary range.
