About the role#
This internship focuses on learning the fundamentals of college campus ministry at Marian University. The position is designed to help students grow in spiritual understanding, biblical knowledge, and leadership skills while discerning a call to ministry. Interns will develop daily spiritual disciplines and engage with a worshipping community.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the campus ministry team to cast spiritual vision and direct ministry efforts.
- Contribute to team plans for spiritual growth and transformation.
- Teach students how to study, love, and apply Scripture to their lives.
- Promote the mission on campus to build bolder, broader, and more ethnically diverse witnessing communities.
- Proclaim and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage a prayerful lifestyle among students.
- Assist in developing strategic thinking for campus witness and model growth in cross-cultural competence.
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization to ministry partners and churches.
- Engage with supervision and training provided by staff ministry directors.
What you'll need#
- Status as a currently enrolled student at a four-year or community college.
- A commitment as a follower of Jesus Christ and an annual affirmation of the organization's Statement of Agreement.
- A developing passion for evangelism.
- Leadership qualities including initiative, self-awareness, communication, professionalism, cross-cultural competence, and relational maturity.
- Academic background in fields such as Human Resources, Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, or Communications.

- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: This is a paid, full-time position. Compensation is funded through personal fundraising, and the final salary is dependent on the individual's ability to secure a donor team.
