About the role#
This is a 9-week, full-time, on-site internship for Summer 2027. You will work directly with security engineers to protect critical infrastructure and sensitive data. The role involves hands-on experience across multiple areas of security operations within a global financial services firm.
What you'll do#
- Design, implement, and maintain cybersecurity solutions alongside experienced engineers.
- Participate in security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and threat monitoring.
- Support penetration testing, including the execution of test cases and the compilation of reports.
- Assist with threat modeling and set up infrastructure for red teaming exercises.
- Learn to conduct penetration testing on web and mobile applications.
- Own specific security projects while collaborating with the team for guidance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related degree program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.5.
- A basic understanding of network and application security concepts.
- Familiarity with common security tools and technologies.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Preference for students graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.
