About the role#
The IT Intern position offers students an entry-level opportunity to gain real-world experience in information technology. You will develop technical skills and build a foundation for a career as an IT professional while working with our team in Neenah.
What you'll do#
- Learn about computer networking and technology management best practices.
- Assist staff with system maintenance functions.
- Manage the IT Asset Lifecycle by replacing desktop equipment on a monthly basis.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Communicate with IT professionals across infrastructure, systems, and application teams.
- Handle special projects as assigned by your manager.
- Develop organizational and time management skills while supporting employees.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- A focus on providing quality service to employees.
- Interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with staff and business contacts.
