About the role#
Intact is looking for Test Automation Developer interns to join two of our specialized test automation teams. You will work in a complex, microservices-based architecture environment and contribute to the evolution of our testing practices. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a team that applies Agile methodology.
What you'll do#
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
- Perform manual testing across various environments.
- Design, create, and manage test cases in Zephyr, linking them with Jira tickets.
- Execute both automated and manual tests.
- Analyze and resolve problems while exploring automated testing techniques.
- Analyze test results and report issues with clear documentation.
- Collaborate with developers and quality assurance team members to resolve defects.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Design, code, and test new features.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Must be an active student during the internship and returning to school in the Summer or Fall of 2027.
- Excellent logical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated, fast-learning attitude.
- Proactive, curious, and eager-to-learn team player.
- Adaptability and teamwork skills.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is required for these roles in Quebec.

- Locations: Montréal, Quebec and St-Hyacinthe, Quebec.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January to April).
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment: Full-time (35 hours per week).
- Compensation: Paid internship.
