Insomniac - Paid Fall Music Group Marketing Intern

About the role#

Insomniac Events is seeking a motivated and proactive Marketing Intern to join the Insomniac Music Group records team. This paid, on-site internship provides hands-on experience in a professional music label environment, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager. The role requires a commitment of 16-29 hours per week during the Fall 2026 term.

What you'll do#

• Assist in managing the social media content calendar and scheduling posts across label channels.
• Develop, curate, and publish engaging content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, and YouTube Shorts.
• Research emerging social media trends, platform updates, and audience engagement strategies.
• Contribute creative ideas and marketing strategies for artists on the label roster.
• Maintain and update the Insomniac Music Group influencer database.
• Support ongoing marketing campaigns and gather data for internal projects.
• Assist the label team with day-to-day operations and administrative functions.
• Shadow brand activation efforts at festivals to capture onsite content and support brand awareness.

What you'll need#

• Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Knowledge of dance music and Insomniac’s brands.
• A motivated, proactive attitude with a strong sense of urgency.
• Preferred fields of study include Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.

• Compensation: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour.
• Note: This role may require travel to event locations and work during holidays, evenings, or weekends as needed.
