About the role#
Insomniac Events is seeking a Music Group Marketing Intern to join the records team in Calabasas, California. This paid internship offers hands-on experience within a label environment, reporting directly to the Marketing Manager for Insomniac Music Group. This is an on-site position requiring a commitment of 16-29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Assist in managing the social media content calendar and scheduling posts across label channels.
- Develop, curate, and publish content for platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter/X, and YouTube Shorts.
- Conduct research on emerging social media trends, platform updates, and audience engagement strategies.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Insomniac Music Group influencer database.
- Collaborate with the label team on day-to-day operations and provide support for ongoing marketing campaigns.
- Assist with onsite content capture during festival brand activations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, Business Administration, or Graphic Design.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Strong knowledge of dance music and Insomniac brands.
- A motivated, proactive attitude with a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to work from the Calabasas, CA office.
