About the role#
Insomniac Events is hiring a Marketing Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, on-site position is based in Calabasas, California. You will report to the Brand Strategy Manager and gain exposure to various marketing divisions to understand our broader ecosystem. This role requires a commitment of 16 to 29 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Shadow leads across marketing divisions, including festival, concert, digital advertising, and social marketing.
- Contribute creative ideas to the brand strategy team for content and campaigns.
- Use Asana to manage projects, streamline asset approvals, and submit tickets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain brand consistency across all channels.
- Update content briefs to ensure they align with our brand voice and reach our target audience.
- Research trends to support brand strategy initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Must be at least 18 years of age and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Graphic Design, or Media Studies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent writing and communication abilities with high proficiency in presentation development.
- Experience with image editing software, such as Photoshop or Canva, is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Calabasas, including potential work during holidays, evenings, or weekends.
- Ability to work in an open-concept office and tolerate loud noise or varying temperatures at event sites.

- Compensation: $16.90 to $18.00 per hour.
