About the role#
Insomniac Events is seeking a motivated and proactive intern to join the records team for the Fall 2026 term. This paid internship offers hands-on experience within a music group focused on public relations and promotions. This is an on-site position based in Calabasas, California.
What you'll do#
- Support outreach efforts across various streaming and media platforms.
- Expand and maintain an internal database of third-party playlists, press partners, radio contacts, and tastemakers.
- Draft and edit content for singles, EPs, albums, and compilations.
- Manage correspondence and handle pending PR and promotional requests.
- Maintain internal resources and assist with data collection for research projects and pitch decks.
- Provide on-site support at events as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work on-site in Calabasas, CA, for 16-29 hours per week.
- A strong interest in dance music and familiarity with Insomniac brands.
- A motivated, problem-solving attitude with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required to meet deadlines.

- Compensation: $16.90 - $18.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
- Note: This position requires working in an open-office environment and potentially at event sites with loud noise and varying temperatures.
