About the role#
This 10-week internship provides an opportunity to experience life as a Hardware Engineer at IMC. You will be paired with a mentor who will oversee your work and professional development throughout the program. Interns who meet performance expectations may be considered for a full-time Graduate Hardware Engineer position upon completion of the program.
What you'll do#
- Work on meaningful and challenging engineering projects.
- Enhance your knowledge of algorithm complexity, professional design, and coding.
- Participate in classroom-based training covering financial markets, technology, and hardware design.
- Engage in professional development sessions to explore future career paths.
- Attend a full schedule of events and social activities throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current university student graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient experience in Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, or other RTL programming. Experience with C++ or Python is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in solving complex problems programmatically.
- A desire to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teammates.
- An interest in financial markets; previous knowledge is not required.
