About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides an opportunity to experience life as a trader at IMC. Participants engage in training and project work while receiving support from dedicated mentors and intern leads. The program includes a full schedule of events and social activities. Interns who meet performance expectations may be considered for a full-time Graduate Trader position at the end of the program.
What you'll do#
- Participate in classroom-based training covering options theory, core principles of financial markets, and trading simulations.
- Collaborate with traders and technologists on real projects that impact the business.
- Develop professional skills through ongoing feedback and mentorship.
- Engage in professional development sessions.
- Build connections within an environment that rewards problem-solving and teamwork.
What you'll need#
- Current university student graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Economics.
- Strong analytical skills and a desire to solve complex problems.
- Ability to take responsibility and learn from experience.
- Experience in a programming language such as Python, Matlab, or R is a plus.
- Interest in financial markets, though previous knowledge is not required.
