About the role#
This 10-week internship offers an inside look at life as a Software Engineer at IMC. You will receive support through educational training and a mentor who oversees your work and professional development. Interns who meet performance expectations may have the opportunity to secure a graduate position at the end of the program.
What you'll do#

- Participate in classroom-based training covering financial markets, IMC technology, and coding fundamentals.
- Build connections with traders and technologists.
- Engage in professional development sessions to help envision your future at the firm.
- Attend a full schedule of events and social activities to connect with your cohort and colleagues.
What you'll need#
- Current university student graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Proficient experience in a programming language, with Java or C++ preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and an interest in solving complex problems programmatically.
- Interest in the financial markets (previous knowledge is not required).
