Software Engineer Intern - Summer 2027

About the role#

This 10-week summer internship offers the opportunity to experience the work of a Software Engineer at IMC. Interns receive educational training and mentorship to support their professional development. High-performing interns may be considered for a graduate position at the end of the program. This is a paid, full-time position that includes accommodations.

What you'll do#

• Work on challenging projects with the potential to impact the business.
• Participate in classroom-based training covering financial markets, IMC technology, and coding fundamentals.
• Build professional connections with traders and technologists.
• Engage in professional development sessions.
• Attend a full schedule of events and social activities to connect with your cohort.

What you'll need#

• Current university student graduating between September 2027 and July 2028.
• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Proficient programming experience, preferably in Java or C++.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in financial markets.
• Ability to start the internship on June 7, 2027.
