About the role#
This 10-week internship offers a look at life as a Quant Researcher at IMC. You will work alongside a mentor to test research ideas and build custom analysis tools for production use. The program includes classroom instruction on options theory, market making, algorithm complexity, and trades analysis. Interns who meet performance expectations may be considered for a full-time Graduate Quant Researcher position.

What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a PhD program in Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Expected graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with a programming language such as Python, C, or C++ is highly desired.
- A drive to solve complex problems and develop trading intuition.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a base salary of $250,000. Accommodations are included.
