About the role#
Technology drives modern electronic trading. This internship focuses on applying quantitative techniques and practical experimentation to the systems used by exchanges, connectivity providers, and our own internal infrastructure. You will work alongside traders, hardware engineers, and software engineers to refine our trading strategies.
What you'll do#
- Perform quantitative research using large datasets to analyze exchange technology.
- Design strategies to improve liquidity taking and quoting for exchange microstructure.
- Build AI agents, ETL pipelines, and algorithms in Python to optimize ultra-low-latency trading.
- Reverse-engineer and stress-test network and systems programming technologies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Expected graduation date between September 2027 and July 2028.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Interest in financial markets (prior knowledge is not required).
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, or network technology is helpful.
