About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will integrate classroom theory with practical work, contributing to safety and capacity improvements while supporting plant operations.
What you'll do#
- Lead engineering projects through investigation, scope, design, and implementation phases.
- Support engineers in executing plant trials and troubleshooting production or maintenance issues.
- Comply with all company policies, including Quality, Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental guidelines.
- Adhere to quality systems such as ISO 22000 and FAMI-QS.
- Maintain safe work practices in alignment with corporate and site EHS guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Basic understanding of microbiological concepts and assays.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
