Chemical Engineering Spring Co-op

About the role#

The Chemical Engineering Co-op position offers hands-on experience within the Manufacturing Technology team at the Corpus Christi chemical plant. You will work alongside experienced engineering professionals, applying classroom knowledge to real-time engineering challenges and projects.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with engineering professionals on site improvement and expansion projects.
• Assist operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
• Participate in process safety management activities and reviews.
• Contribute to team meetings and conference calls.
• Support the development of process technology.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Junior or above.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A GPA of 3.2 or above is preferred.
• Participation in relevant extracurricular activities, organizations, or projects is preferred.
• Enthusiasm for working in a chemical plant environment.

• Location: Corpus Christi, Texas.
• Term: Spring 2026.
• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Modality: On-site.
