About the role#
As a Chemical Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in a global manufacturing environment. This role focuses on solving real business challenges by working alongside industry experts on technical projects. You will contribute to process improvements and gain exposure to the daily operations of a chemical manufacturing company.
What you'll do#
- Support process optimization and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
- Assist in troubleshooting production and process issues.
- Analyze operating data to identify opportunities for yield, throughput, quality, and cost improvements.
- Participate in process safety, reliability, and continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with commissioning, startup, and implementation activities.
- Develop engineering calculations, process documentation, and technical reports.
- Present findings and recommendations to engineering and site leadership teams.
- Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, EHS, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Chemical Engineering.
- Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Master's level student.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
