Chemist Intern

About the role#

As a Chemist Intern, you will contribute to real-world business challenges and technology projects within a global chemical manufacturing environment. This role involves hands-on work in research and development, providing exposure to laboratory operations and cross-functional collaboration. Interns work alongside industry experts to support innovation across areas such as polyurethanes, performance products, and advanced materials.

What you'll do#

• Conduct laboratory synthesis, formulation, testing, and analytical work.
• Support new product development and technology projects.
• Perform literature reviews and technical research.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and testing equipment.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, and business teams to support innovation initiatives.
• Contribute to safe laboratory operations and EHS programs.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Status as a Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
• Demonstrated laboratory experience.
• Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
