About the role#
Huntsman Corporation is hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for a full-time, paid position. This role is based on-site at our corporate office in The Woodlands, Texas. We offer a rolling internship term for students pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering.
What you'll do#
As an intern, you will work alongside our engineering and operations teams to improve plant performance. Your daily work involves these tasks:
- Support reliability and asset integrity programs.
- Assist with projects involving rotating and fixed equipment.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Support the planning and execution of capital projects.
- Help develop equipment specifications and engineering drawings.
- Analyze maintenance and reliability data.
- Assist with the development of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program for Mechanical Engineering.
- Standing as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
