About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Mechanical Engineering internship based on-site in The Woodlands, Texas. The program offers hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing and engineering, allowing interns to contribute to technical projects alongside industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Support reliability and asset integrity programs.
- Assist with projects involving rotating and fixed equipment.
- Participate in equipment troubleshooting and failure analysis.
- Support the planning and execution of capital projects.
- Develop equipment specifications and engineering drawings.
- Analyze maintenance and reliability data to assist with preventive and predictive strategies.
- Collaborate with engineers and operations teams to improve plant performance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Status as a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Master's student.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
