About the role#
As a Chemical Process Engineering Intern, you will lead projects, collaborate with diverse teams, and gain hands-on experience. You will report to the Chief Chemical Engineer and work on-site in a safety-sensitive environment. This role is part of the Summer 2027 Internship Program.
What you'll do#
- Lead projects from start to finish, including gathering process information and performing engineering calculations.
- Present project results and recommendations to the team.
- Assist Process and Reliability Engineers with daily tasks.
- Monitor operations by analyzing trends and maintaining turbine and compressor efficiencies.
- Track machine tribology data, cooling water surveys, catalyst surveys, DCS trends, and lab results.
- Use the Management of Change (MOC) process to implement recommendations.
- Organize Process Safety Information for technicians.
- Participate in Process Hazard Analyses.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited Chemical Engineering program.
- Ability to make verbal and written presentations to communicate ideas.
